New month, new post

We finally finished our apartment renovations -- the painting we started back before Thanksgiving. We just had the bedroom to finish up, and now it's a lovely green, a Loretta green. And in the process we threw out a whole bunch of stuff -- eight bags to Goodwill, mostly clothes but also all sorts of other things we didn't need and couldn't keep.

Then we threw a party.

Now our attic truly is a home, and it pleases me to be in it. And I'm starting to think we might not live here that much longer. Ironic, I know. But Adam has started looking for a job, and it might take us to the City or the South Bay or somewhere else. I just hope we can enjoy this newly ordered place for as long as possible.
